Jablunkovské šance is a typical example of the fortification of a mountain pass. It is a unique fortification monument, which has no comparable analogy not only in the Czech Republic.
The second oldest folklore festival in the Czechia takes place in the picturesque surroundings of the Municipal Forest in Jablunkov. Festival always takes place at the beginning of August in this natural amphitheater.
