Museum of Tripoint
It is located on Jablunkov Square in a house with a Renaissance core from the 16th century - one of the oldest brick building in the whole Silesia.
The building with the traditional name Prince´s House is related to the fact that in the second half of the 16th century it became the property of the Těšín princes from the Piast family. It is connected with the stays of the Těšín princesses, specifically Kateřina Sidonie or her granddaughter Alžběta Lukrécie.
In 2018 the Museum was purchased from town of Jablunkov by the Moravian-Silesian Region, the founder of the Těšín Museum.
Visitors to the easternmost city of the Czech Republic and at the same time the southermost city in Silesia have access to a permanent exhibition called Landscape and People. As the name suggests, it represents the centuries-old coexistence of nature and man in the peculiar easternmost region of the Czech Republic near the state borders with Poland and Slovakia.
In addition to classic exhibits, modern audiovisual elements are used. The building also has spaces for changing exhibitions or for working with the public of all age groups.
